An Extra Hour Every Day!

Friday morning I got a phone call from Blake's school saying that they finally had a spot for Ashlyn in one of their Pre-K classes. She started the school year out at Blackshear Elementary School, but it was a 40 mile drive (2 round trips for drop off/pick up) each day. Plus the fact that it meant 2 different schools to have kids at, which made for multiple scheduling conflicts. Patterson Elementary School is one of the better Elementary Schools in Southern Georgia, so we're excited to have them both there this year. I was nervous to tell her Friday when I picked her up that she was transfering and leaving her new friends and teacher behind, but she was excited...especially when she got her very own PES t-shirt like Blake. Now only making a 1/2 mile drive to drop off/pick up the kids, I've gained an extra hour in my day...just what I needed, more time to sit at home by myself with nothing to do!
