Here's Blake's birthday cake that I finished about 10 minutes before the guests arrived...talk about cutting it close. I usually decorate the kids' cake after they've gone to bed the night before their birthday, that way when they wake up on their birthday they get to see their cake first thing. However, to make a long story short...I didn't have everything I needed to do it and it was Sunday so I couldn't run to the store. I won't make that mistake again, it made for a stressful day!
Blake couldn't decide if he wanted an Oregon or Duke cake, so we compromised and did both. Rick said I was just secretly trying to brain wash him with an O.D. (optometrist) birthday cake! Hee hee...what Blake doesn't know won't hurt him.
