We did one of the best things we've done since we've lived in the South this weekend...floated the Ichetucknee River. Unfortunatley there are no pictures of all of us floating down the crystal clear river on inner-tubes...those are on the waterproof camera and they haven't been developed.
One big happy family swimming - ignore the random person in the left of the picture. We were glad we brought goggles along to see all the fish, turtle and yes...water snakes. Luckily we just saw them on the edges, but others saw one swimming.
What is everybody looking at? A 24+ foot hole that the spring came out of. It made for quite a swim with the current, but it was sooooo pretty!
We weren't brave enough to dive down very deep for a closer look, but it's a hot spot for scuba divers.
Talk about beautiful, the pictures don't do the place any justice!
After floating we bought some funnel cakes...what better way to end a wonderful day!
