Opening Day Celebrations

PLAY BALL!! Today was Opening Day of Baseball Season and with it came all the pomp and circumstance..... The morning started with the traditional parade of teams, followed by Opening Ceremonies. This year one of the local high school drum lines lead the pack, along with the ROTC Color Guard, the police department, the fire department, the Chick-Fil-A cow float and Ronald himself. Ashlyn was lucky enough (with the help of Daddy) to catch one of the softballs that the Chick-Fil-A Cows were throwing.

Here's Blake's parade wave, he's got it down! Check out how much bigger he is than most of his teammates...he's still has one more year in this league, most of them do not. We joke that we might have to carry his birth certificate to his games next year to prove that he's in the correct league.

Farm Rich #11 before the big game this morning. I had to take a picture to prove that he DID, at one time, have white pants...who in their right mind picks WHITE baseball pants. I'm going to have to get stock in Clorox....errrr!Little Man playing 2nd base. He's excited to have "moved up the ranks" from last year's outfield position!
Up to bat...see, what did I tell ya about the pants! Errr. We're excited for baseball season to be here and can't wait to watch our little guy out there having fun. Wish ya'll were here to join us.
