Our Little Author

Blake brought home one of his writing assignments the other day and I thought I'd share. I'm assuming they were asked to write some sort of Halloween themed story.

Creepy Eppy

One dark, creepy, chilly night a large black cat was stalking through the haunted woods when he came upon a sweet little lost ghost.

The black cat boomed, "Who do I see walking through my woods?"
"M-m-me," trembled the ghost.
"Well get out NOW!" the cat boomed.
"Ahh!" cried the ghost. "Get away from me!"

So the little ghost flew and flew, because ghosts don't have legs, and the cat chased him down. When the black cat tried to grab him he missed (because ghosts don't have bodies) they are just spirits.

The ghost giggled. "Can't get me," he said. So the black cat made a liquid trap to try to catch the ghost. So he set it up and the ghost got trapped. The cat threw the ghost in the trash can. Don't think the story is over, because it isn't.

The ghost tricked the cat. So he flew out of the garbage can and found his sweet little home.

THE END

Pretty cute for a 2nd grader, don't you think!
