A Big Girl Bed for Ashlyn

Well we finally decided that since Ashlyn's not wearing diapers anymore that it's kind of silly that she's still sleeping in a crib. We moved Blake to a big kid bed at 18 months and it was a pain trying to keep him in it and it was the end of him taking naps. So we put off moving Ashlyn to one for as long as we could. So far she loves it and hasn't had any problems staying in and going to sleep, not even at nap time - knock on wood! However, in the two nights she's slept in it she's fallen out of bed at 2:30 a.m. and has come in to sleep on our floor. Blake's excited because we gave his mattresses to Ashlyn and ordered him a whole new bed. It won't be here until the end of the week and then we're switching his room with the office - he can't wait!

Nicole,
if you're the Nicole from Georgia who commented on Proposition 8 in the Exponent blog, you'll be interested in knowing that John--Robert John Williams who wrote the post, is friend and neighbor of my daughter Bekah.

You might also listen to his CD. Bekah told me about it and said I might like the music. Funny thing about the CD is that he couldn't find a job so is staying in Irvine. Meanwhile his friend asked him to record the CD (Faded Paper Figures)with him. Now they're going on tour in Japan. Their joke is, if you can't get a job teaching with your Ph.d., try to be a rock star!

Kay - I don't have your e-mail address, so I hope you see this....I have no idea what you're talking about - the blog, the person or the comment made my a "Nicole in Georgia". Sorry if it made you upset, but I really have no clue what you're talking about. Any blog I comment on comes up as "harrison family" for the name!
