We headed out to St. Simons Island this morning with some friends from church for the kids to get out of the house and play with each other. Since it's monsoon season we haven't even been able to go to the pool in almost two weeks, so all of us moms were going nuts.
Ashlyn has finally decided that the ocean isn't scarey this summer! Last summer she couldn't even walk but would crawl all over and take the waves head on, this summer she wouldn't even go near the water. We finally drug her in a couple of weeks ago and now she is back to enjoying the waves crashing around her.
Blake and his friend Elliot spent the morning body surfing and wave jumping since his mom and I both forgot the boogie boards - oops!
