Today was the last day of the summer reading program at the library - Blake's official total was 38 chapter books for a total of over 4,000 pages throughout the 6 week time period. His favorite books this summer are the Boxcar Children series - thank goodness there are more than a hundred of them, it'll keep him busy for a little while. Ashlyn loves that Blake gets stacks and stacks of books from the library every week, because it means she can play librarian. Can you tell as she o-so-carefully stacks and restacks them that she is already taking after her O.C.D. brother?!! This is a common scene in our living room each afternoon since it's sooo hot outside.

My girls are similar, except Becca does the reading and Emma does the playing. Bit backwards considering Emma's the oldest, but there you go!
