Today was opening day of baseball here in Glynn County Georgia, and boy is baseball a big deal here in the south! They had a parade that the kids were in this morning followed by Opening Ceremonies in which they mentioned they have 1,622 kids that are playing!
Blake is on Fox's Pizza this season as #11 and is having a great time.
He is proud to slide in at home every time so that Mom gets the challenge of getting his pants clean before the next game.
Ashlyn had a rough start to the season today when she was hit in the head by a line drive during warm up batting practice. Needless to say she was left with a battle scar from the game but as soon as her friend Lucas (coach's younger son) came along to play she was okay. They spent the time cheering for their big brothers and playing in the sand. Boy did they both need baths by the end of the game!
