I was just thinking the other day that we've been really lucky that neither of our two children have ever colored on the walls....well as you can see I shouldn't have jinxed myself! Boy was I mad! Poor Ashlyn, bless her heart, as soon as I came around the corner and saw what she had done she knew she was in trouble. She sat there with her bottom lip just a quiverin' while I (in a stern, but nice voice) told her we DO NOT color on the walls and that she would not be able to use colored pencils or crayons for awhile. Then she burst into tears and began to sob uncontrollably - I let her carry on about it for about 10 minutes before I cuddle with her to make her feel better. However, now she has to show Dad what she did when he gets home tonight - wish her luck!
