The Shark's Field Day

Today was Field Day for the kids at C.B. Greer Elementary School. Blake's class picked red as their team color and each tie-dyed a shirt to wear. It started out a chilly morning, (only in the 60's with a breeze, hence the pants and sweaters) but once the games began that was the last thing on the kids' minds.Blake's first event he participated in was the ball scoop. He had fun and was excited that he only dropped the ball once.
This is Blake running the ball hop relay. They had to put the beach ball inbetween their legs and run without dropping it, needless to say, it was pretty funny to watch. His team took first place in this event - go Mrs. DeBarry's class!

Ashlyn had a lot of fun watching all the festivities and hootin' and hollerin' for her big brother. She even had a little dance that she was doing that everybody got a kick out of.
