I took Ashlyn and one of her BFFs, Rainy, to an Olivia Holt concert today! She is the star of I Didn't Do It and Kickin' It on Disney Channel and her music is always playing on Radio Disney. The girls were stoked once we got there and saw how closet our seats were...6th row, almost center stage.
Oliva Holt was absolutely adorable and sounded great! I couldn't believe the high waist shorts she was wearing though...however, both of the girls commented on how cute they were...I guess 80's jeans are coming back into style!
The girls knew all of her songs she performed, except for a new one that she said will be on a CD coming out this fall and had fun singing along...
They are still a little shy at the whole concert thing though...all the middle/high school aged girls left their seats and ran up to stand right in front of the stage as soon as the concert started, but Ashlyn and Rainy were way too shy and opted to stay in their seats. I looked around and most of the kids their age did the same thing....as well as all of us parents.
The girls had a BLAST watching the drummer! I had to take more than 20 pictures before I got one that you could see his face clearly, he was going to town on those drums!
And of course - you can't go to a concert without getting a t-shirt!
Even though it was 95 degrees outside, the girls talked the whole way home about how much fun they had....I'd call that a successful day! Wonder who we will go see next?

Way fun! Not too much longer and I will be able to take Ryleigh to concerts!
