Santa always shows up at Rick's office party each year out at the Country Club after dinner and all the kids know he has real presents in his bag instead of just candy canes...so even the big kids have no problems sitting on his lap.
This year Blake asked for a National Championship win for the Ducks, so Santa made him pose for an extra picture to flash the Oregon "O" in together, along with a big "Merry Christmas and Go Ducks!" that they shouted as loud as possible. He was excited to open a $25 iTunes gift card from him tonight...fingers crossed that he delivers big in a few weeks!
Ashlyn was a little more selfish and asked him to bring her an iPod Christmas morning.
She was excited to see he brought her a scrapbook kit tonight. She has been bugging non-stop to start scrapbooking with me and of course bugged to get started as soon as we walked in the door at
9 o'clock tonight after the party.
Blake's ticket won in the raffle at the end of the party too...lucky for me it was a beautiful Christmas decoration that is displayed on our coffee table in the living room. He was sad it wasn't one of the bigger prizes like sunglasses or Kindle Fires like last year. It is so fun that they have the big event each year for all the families to get together and have fun during the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

How fun! I'd love something like this. And I really can't believe you still blog AND scrapbook. You go girl!
What a great thing to ask for, Blake! Hope he delivers.
