Rick hates doing things because of tradition...except when it comes to an ice cold sodie that is! A couple of weeks after we moved to Walla Walla I was out riding my bike and came across the soda machine at the Coca-Cola distribution place...50 cents for a bottle of soda and 25 cents for a can. We stop there on the way home from church every Sunday and laugh when we run into other ward members there. There are always a few mystery buttons to push so if there isn't something Blake likes he is brave enough to try one and see what his luck gets him. Ashlyn doesn't drink soda but sometimes there is lemonade or Gatorade in it and she gets a kick out of seeing what comes out for somebody when they hit the mystery button. It is a silly thing, but it is one of the few family traditions the Harrisons have...and one Dad actually participates in!

Cool! And I love that Rick is into it. I read in an article recently that the more ridiculous a family tradition is, the more likely it will stick around. :-)
I love Ashlyn's dress. I think that would be tradition we would like too!
Thanks Melissa! We have a hard time finding modest dresses for her already :( found this and 2 others at CostCo of all places for less than $20 a piece...not that you have Costco in your neck of the woods :)
