Way to Be Ashlyn!

Today Ashlyn came home from school with the REALLY cool bumper sticker. If you know me I HATE school bumper stickers, especially the "I'm a Proud Parent of an Honor Roll Student" bumper stickers...we use to hide them from Mom when they came in the mail growing up!
However, she was pretty excited to have earned the sticker and stuck it to her shirt all day at school...darn we can't put it on the car now - snif, snif. The kids' school is an International Baccalaureate School and they have focus words each month that are emphasized in the classroom. This month was curiosity and being a risk taker. Each teacher had to pick one student from their class who demonstrated these focus words and they got to go to the office for a "congrats" and the sticker. No treat? What kind of reward is a bumper sticker? Shhh, don't tell her cause she's on Cloud 9!
