We have been without internet for the week and don't have a date in which it will be hooked up yet...apparently AT&T doesn't service "the middle of nowhere" so we couldn't move our services and are waiting for the local providers to "get around" to hooking it up, hopfully the beginning of this week. Luckily, I can use it at Rick's office.
We are grateful to the 10 EQ members who showed up to load the moving truck. They loaded the truck, had donuts and juice while chittchatting and removed a tree that fell in our backyard the night before in less than 1 1/2 hours! Then Rick made the 45 minute drive to be greeted by 7 EQ members from our new ward and they unloaded the truck in 29 minutes...can you tell EQ is called on ALL the time to help people move? They've got it down!
The kids are registered for school and start Aug.9th, I'm all set to substitute in our district and will add neighboring districts this week, Ashlyn got all 4 of her shots to clear her for school, we've all been to the dentist, we've installed blinds on all the windows, I've began to learn my way around out here and have even learned some of the back roads...not to mention UNLOADING all the boxes. It's been a busy week!
Now just keep your fingers crossed for us that our house in Brunswick sells quickly so we can decide what/where we're going to build our house and hunker down to make this place home!

We own property off Sinclair Road, on Mill Creek Road in Patterson. I think it's completely CRAZY that we both ended up with a connection to that teeny, tiny part of the world! We'll defintely be visiting soon. Dustin's parents were married in the couthouse across from the IGA. :)
Holy cow! That is crazy! Why did you guys buy property here? Thinking of making it home when he's done with the military...now that would be CRAZY for both of us to end up here. I can't wait for ya'll to come and visit, definitely let us know when you're headed our way.
