It was our turn to host the McDowell Family Reunion this time, which meant a houseful of people at our house for 9 days. We were excited to have my parents and 2 sisters along with their families, but were sad that our youngest sister and her family and my brother and his family weren't able to come.
First on the Clipboard O'Fun was a day of relaxing at the pool and then we headed over to Driftwood beach for some really cool family pictures.

Mom and Dad

Shannon, Devin and Ryleigh

Tana and Nathan

Sunday was Blake's baptism. He was excited to have lots of family in town for the ocassion and put them all to work in the program.

Then after the baptism it was time to celebrate 4th of July. Everybody watched Rick's firework show adorned in their glowsticks.

Monday morning we all loaded up in the cars and headed to Florida for a few days. First stop Daytona Beach. Everybody had a blast trying their luck with boogie boarding. Here are the pictures to prove that even Mom and Dad got in on the fun.

In fact, Dad was the one who spent the MOST time boarding...we had to drag him out when it was time to go!

Next stop was Camp Holly for an airboat ride to see some gators. We didn't see as many as we have in the past, but we still had a good time.

Then we headed to Kennedy Space Center for almost 2 full days. Blake was in heaven! The kids were excited to see an astronaut walking around just as we walked in and enjoyed all the rides and hands on activities they had.

The rest of the time was spent eating various southern foods, shopping, playing games and just enjoying each others company. We had a great time having everybody here to see our neck of the woods for something a little different. Now we can't wait for the next reunion in Boise.
