We're going to be out of town Easter Weekend, so we're going to miss the HUGE (free)Easter Festival out in Jesup. The kids were sad, so we decided to try the ($2 a kid)Bunny Festival that our County puts on.

Ashlyn was barely YOUNG enough for her age group and turned out to be quite the little hunter. We had to call her back to save some for the younger kids. Luckily, she wasn't too upset to have to stop while there was still TONS of eggs out there.

They humored Mom and sat for a picture with the Easter Bunny, even though they didn't really want to...it was kind of a sad looking Easter Bunny.

Blake was barely OLD enough for his age group and didn't end up doing as well as his little sister...needless to say he was pretty disappointed. And for his age group they actually hid the eggs for the kids to find, which made it last longer, but also harder.
FYI - for those who are thinking of going out to this event next year...for little kids (there were only about 10 kids for each age group) and parents who don't like their kids eating candy (there were only stickers in ALL of the eggs) it was great. Bigger kids who like candy, not so much. We're not sure what they did with the $2 a kid entry fee...hopefully it was simply a fundraiser for the County. I think we'll stick with Jesup next year.

I love the look on Blake's face. We went to the city egg hunt last year and it was a total joke. I don't know what we'll do this year. We'll be in SLC next weekend for a wedding.
Blake's face is priceless! Poor kid. Who wants stickers anyway?
PS Tell Blake, Go DUKE!
great smile blake!
What a look! Is Blake upset about the eggs or that his sister beat him?
