Our Little Author

Blake brought home a permission slip from school yesterday informing us that he was chosen from all the other 2nd graders in his school to go to Regionals for the Young Georgia Authors' Writing Competition. He was pretty excited to have been the ONE student chosen from 120+ students in his grade. He had to choose fiction or non-fiction and was able to write on the subject of his choice...a non-fiction paper on the solar system it was. Our region consists of 6 different counties (# of schools?)and who knows how many kids, since each school sends one kid from each grade. Keep your fingers crossed and wish him luck!
