...but it was STILL in the box, not put together. Being as it was pouring down rain when we woke up this morning, they gave Santa the benefit of the doubt that it was probably raining when he came, so he wasn't able to put it together. Cheerfully, after all the presents were opened Mom and Dad played Santa's helpers and went to work putting it together for the kids. 3 1/2 hours later and about 80% complete we realized that Santa left out the last box of bolts and screws needed to finish putting it together. So Blake and Ashlyn got 80% of a trampoline for Christmas...who knows how long it will take Santa to ship us the missing box!
Ashlyn had fun playing with her new scooter, but hopes it will stop raining so she can take it for a real spin tomorrow at the beach.
She also had fun with the wedding dress that we got her to add to her dress up collection.
Blake on the other hand, has been sick for the past 2 days, not feeling any better today, and spent most of the day dozing off and on on the couch.
He did muster up enough strength to wake us up at 6 a.m. to open presents...
...to model his new pajamas he opened Christmas Eve...
...and to accompany us on Christmas Eve to sing a few carols.
We missed y'all here in Georgia and are jealous of those that were blessed with a White Christmas.
