Opening day of baseball was this past weekend which meant spending the day at the ball field...boy do we have the sun burns to prove it! Blake's team marched in the parade and participated in the opening ceremonies and then ate free Krispie Kremes. They're first game was quite an experience. We're sad to report they lost 1-5 against Brunswick Toyota, darn it!
Blake played pitcher, but since they use a pitching machine, he just hands it to the umpire to feed the machine.
And he's happy to report that he got a hit, but was sad when it ended up being a pop fly and was caught.
It's going to be a much more interesting season since he's finally old enough to play in a league in which they keep score! Us parents had a fun time cheering the boys on.
