Holy cow, did we have 6 year old drama last night! Ashlyn has had her 2 front teeth dangling by a thread since Christmas and had gotten to the point that she refused to brush them because it made them bleed since they were sooo loose...NASTY! I have never seen a kid that won't sit and wiggle a tooth and try and get it out ASAP so the tooth fairy can come, but these teeth have been lose since BEFORE Thanksgiving and still weren't out.
Rick told her yesterday was the last day and that she could pull them or he would before she went to bed. She spent 15 minutes crying on the bathroom floor about it...not because it was going to hurt but because she was worried about looking ugly! Boy are we in for it when she is a teenager! As she was working on getting it out herself, she lost it when she saw blood - "I can't take the pain!" It came down to me pinning her down and Rick grabbing it and pulling it when she jerked her head away from him and left her not only toothless but with messy hair and nasty sweaty from the whole ordeal. She sat on his lap to get calmed down...until she went to look in the mirror and saw what it looked like! Then it was drama all over again...for a long time!
Here she was smiling for a picture...before looking at herself in the mirror and freaking out. Now we just have to get the other nasty one out before her dentist appointment on Wednesday. I was shocked that Rick just didn't get both of them at the same time...now we have to go through it all over again...errr.

That's how Madison is with pulling teeth! She only had one that fell out on it's own while we were at McDonalds! Good luck with the rest of them. Did the other one come out?
