Today's the first day of school for Blake and Ashlyn. I was thrilled to hear that this county starts 2 weeks earlier than Brunswick...my kids were ready! I have to admit that I got choked up at Ashlyn's Orientation and Open House for both of them and that I made Rick drop them off this morning (I knew I'd be a wreck if I had to do it) and it's really weird to have a TOO quiet house all to myself...but I have a full week of scrapbooking and watching chick-flicks ahead of me. I've gotta make the best use of my time because soon enough I'll be working. I can't believe that BOTH kids are in school now...I'm getting old!

Wow. I can't believe they're both in school. It's been so long since we last saw you guys that we haven't even MET Ashlyn and now she's in kindergarten? Crazy!
We have nearly a month till school starts here. It'll be Emma's first year of full day school. It's going to be beyond strange.
