Computer Literate

Ashlyn has officially joined the world of computers. She is soooo excited that she can get on and play games on the internet using the mouse herself. We've helped her play on various websites for a long time, but she loves her new found independence!Starfall.com is her favorite. It has all kinds of video clips, games, puzzles, songs etc. that go along with each letter of the alphabet then progresses to reading.
Here she is playing a matching game to uncover a picture. For anybody who has preschool kids, this is a GREAT website! I swear it's why Blake read at age 3. He now laughs that Ashlyn plays it since it's one of the sites that is bookmarked for the kindergarten and 1st graders at his school.

Starfall is defintely a hit at my house, too. They aren't on it very often but it's fun to watch them when they are. Our kids are growing up!

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I've been wondering how to introduce Emma to computers (how sad is it that I feel like she's behind and she's only 4?!), and that looks perfect!
